You owe the Metro Supportive Housing Services (SHS) tax if you live in the Metro region (parts of Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties) and your Metro taxable income is above the threshold — about $128,000 for single filers or $205,000 for joint filers in tax year 2026. Thresholds are now adjusted for inflation each year.

How to file
